Guernsey
Guernsey is a British Crown Dependency in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy. The population is 65,800,and a total area of 25 square miles.
Guernsey is situated 30 miles west of France's Normandy coast and 75 miles south of Weymouth, England and lies in the Gulf of St Malo. Lihou, a tidal island, is attached to Guernsey by a causeway at low tide. The terrain is mostly level with low hills in southwest.
Victor Hugo wrote some of his best-known works while in exile in Guernsey, including Les Misérables. His home in St. Peter Port, Hauteville House, is now a museum administered by the city of Paris. Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands are located in the Caribbean Sea and are the peaks of a massive underwater ridge, known as the Cayman Trench, standing 8,000 feet from the sea floor, which barely exceeds the surface.
All three islands were formed by large coral heads covering submerged ice age peaks of western extensions of the Cuban Sierra Maestra range and are mostly flat.
The Cayman Islands have more registered businesses than they have people.
One of Grand Cayman's main attractions is Seven Mile Beach, on which a number of the island's hotels and resorts are located.

The Republic of Côte d'Ivoire or Ivory Coast, is a country in West Africa. It has an area of 322,462 km.
Compared to neighboring Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire suffered little from the slave trade, as European slaving and merchant ships preferred other areas along the coast, with better harbors. The earliest recorded French voyage to West Africa took place in 1483.
The official capital of Côte d'Ivoire is Yamoussoukro (295,500), the fourth most populous city. Abidjan, with a population of 3,310,500, is the largest city and serves as the commercial and banking center of Côte d'Ivoire as well as the de facto capital. Extensive deforestation has taken place in parts of the country, some due to mining operations. Slash-and-burn activity, locally called tavy, has occurred in the eastern and western dry forests as well as on the central high plateau, reducing certain forest habitat and applying pressure to some endangered species.
The Malagasy language is of Malayo-Polynesian origin and is generally spoken throughout the island. Madagascar is a francophone country, and French is spoken among the educated population of this former French colony. English, although still rare, is becoming more widely spoken, and in 2003, the government began a pilot project of introducing the teaching of English into the primary grades of 44 schools, with hopes of taking the project nationwide. Many Peace Corps volunteers are serving to further this effort and train teachers.

Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua has a population of 85,632, mostly made up of people of West African, British, and Portuguese descent.
English is the official language, but many of the locals speak Antiguan Creole. The Barbudan accent is slightly different from the Antiguan.

Solution Focused Therapy
Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), as its name suggests, focuses on solutions and is goal-oriented, rather than problem focused as many other therapies are. It is also known as Brief Solution Focused Therapy or Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and was developed by Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg, who were influenced by the work of Milton Erickson. Bill O'Hanlon (who worked closely with Erickson) adopts less structured approaches, which he calls Solution-Oriented Therapy and Possibility Therapy.

gawab free email review
This will not be a long and exhaustiv review but as I needed a new email account for some specific use. I use to have gmail account that is for me the best free email account. But the problem is the multi account, you need to logout each time. Of course you have the big top 3 ( yahoo, hotmail and gmail ) but I wanted to have an alternative one.
So I decided to find new services. An I find gawab.
Registration : The form was a little bit long with unused question. Why do they ask me for my address and my phone number. The real problem is the phone number. When I put my real phone number with international code, it didn't accept it. When I replace th +(xx) for international by 0 it was accepted.
It aslo ask me for reminder questio. I always find ridiculous that simply because, we loose more often the id or email more often than the password. And this is also a very big security gap. If you need to find out the password of someone, try the question.
Other problem was the secondary email. How people do when they need a email and they don't have others ? I need and email for that. That last point show me that this service is definitively not targeted to the primarly email. It will be a secondary email. My question : this service will be secondary as well ? I decided to use a yopmail address for that ( temporary email )
Finaly after 10 minutes, I arrived at the webbased interface. The first things I notice is the advertisement. The top banner was blinking and a big square at the right start to disturbe me before I start using this email.
The internationalisation is very poor they only have 2 languages : english and arabic. Is it an arabic service ?
When I try to change my user preference, they don't accept my change and show an "error message " : the occupation field should be selected but only 1 second in black on yellow. grrrr. I need to concentrated on the form and search for the occupation field. Finaly I find it and choose the first option. ( In my mind the occupation is not as important even for advertiser. Cause I imagine I am not the only one to put the first occupation just because it is mandatory. I imagine the service sell this information arguing the quality and detailed information of their users ! lol They are lyars ! If all users do as me !!!
I stop here for my registration and first impression. Maybe I will write more after a real usage of it.

to read Love and friendship in Plato and Aristotle
For the first time an idea common to Plato and Aristotle, which unites their treatments-- otherwise very different--of love and friendship. The idea is that although persons are separate, their lives need not be. One person's life may overflow into another's, and as such, helping another person is a way of serving oneself. what is a noob
A noob is a person who really sucks at a game but refuses to learn/listen to people who are skilled. Many of them may have been playing the game for a while, but still suck at it. They usually have no hope.
This word is an insult in general so people often wrongly use it and just call somebody that they do not like a noob, regardless of skill.
Newb comes from "newbie." Somebody new to a game and they will generally suck at it. However, the reason that they suck is because of their unfamiliarity to the game. They have the potential to become good. This is not a derogatory term.
The word noob should NOT be used with the word "newb" or "newbie." These words have completely different definitions and meanings to them, which will be explained next.

- notreading my profile BEFORE messaging. Get to know about me FIRST. It's easier to start up a nice conversation. You can still be surprised, not everything about me is in my profile. :)

Guatemala Land of the trees
Guatemala may mean "land of the trees" in the Maya-Toltec language.
After arriving in what was named the New World, the Spanish mounted several expeditions to Guatemala, beginning in 1519. Before long, Spanish contact resulted in an epidemic that devastated native populations.
Guatemala is mountainous, except for the south coastal area and the vast northern lowlands of Petén department. Two mountain chains enter Guatemala from west to east, dividing the country into three major regions: the highlands, where the mountains are located; the Pacific coast, south of the mountains; and the Petén region, north of the mountains. All major cities are located in the highlands and Pacific coast regions; by comparison, Petén is sparsely populated. These three regions vary in climate, elevation, and landscape, providing dramatic contrasts between hot and humid tropical lowlands and colder and drier highland peaks. Volcán Tajumulco, at 4,220 meters, is the highest point in the Central American states.
On Thursday May 27th 2010 (05-27-2010) the Pacaya volcano started erupting lava and rocks on Thursday afternoon, blanketing Guatemala City with ash (It was raining sand when it actually was ashes) and forcing the closure of the international airport. President Alvaro Colom declared a "state of calamity." The Pacaya volcano left about 8 Centimeters of ash through all of Guatemala City. Cleaning works are in progress.

Lebanon
The name Lebanon comes from the Semitic root lbn, meaning "white", likely a reference to the snow-capped Mount Lebanon.
Lebanon was the homeland of the Phoenicians, a seafaring people that spread across the Mediterranean before the rise of Cyrus the Great.[20] After two centuries of Persian rule, Macedonian ruler Alexander the Great attacked and burned Tyre, the most prominent Phoenician city. Throughout the subsequent centuries leading up to recent times, the country became part of numerous succeeding empires, among them Persian, Assyrian, Hellenistic, Roman, Eastern Roman, Arab, Seljuk, Mamluk, Crusader, and the Ottoman Empire.

The song is an ode to the Horehronie tourism region. It became the winner of the Slovak music contest Eurosong 2010 on 27 February, getting the largest share of the televote and coming second in the jury vote.
Horehronie (also Upper Hron River region or Horné Pohronie) is a tourism and geographic region of Slovakia. It is situated in the Banská Bystrica and Brezno districts and encompasses the upper Hron River valley and the surrounding Low Tatra mountain ranges.

Micronesia is a subregion of Oceania, comprising thousands of small islands in the western Pacific Ocean. It is distinct from Melanesia to the south, and Polynesia to the east. The Philippines and Indonesia lie to the west.
The name Micronesia derives from the Greek mikros (μικρός), meaning small, and nesos (νῆσος), meaning island.

Sri Lanka is famous for the production and export of tea, coffee, coconuts, rubber and cinnamon - which is native to the country. A former republic of the Soviet Union, Armenia is a unitary, multiparty, democratic nation-state with an ancient and historic cultural heritage. The Kingdom of Armenia was the first state to adopt Christianity as its religion in the early years of the 4th century (the traditional date is 301). The modern Republic of Armenia recognizes the Armenian Apostolic Church as the national church of Armenia, although the republic has separation of church and state with the Armenian Apostolic Church liable to the laws of the state.
The name has traditionally been derived from Hayk (Հայկ), the legendary patriarch of the Armenians and a great-great-grandson of Noah, who according to Moses of Chorene defeated the Babylonian king Bel in 2492 BC, and established his nation in the Ararat region.
Armenia lies in the highlands surrounding the Biblical mountains of Ararat, upon which, according to the Bible, Noah's Ark came to rest after the flood. (Gen. 8:4).
When World War I broke out leading to confrontation of the Ottoman Empire and the Russian Empire in the Caucasus and Persian Campaigns, the new government in Constantinople began to look on the Armenians with distrust and suspicion. This was due to the fact that the Russian army contained a contingent of Armenian volunteers. On April 24, 1915, Armenian intellectuals were arrested by Ottoman authorities and, with the Tehcir Law (29 May 1915), eventually a large proportion of Armenians living in Anatolia perished in what has become known as the Armenian Genocide.
There was local Armenian resistance in the region, developed against the activities of the Ottoman Empire. The events of 1915 to 1917 are regarded by Armenians and the vast majority of Western historians to have been state-sponsored mass killings, or genocide.[25] Turkish authorities, however, maintain that the deaths were the result of a civil war coupled with disease and famine, with casualties incurred by both sides. According to the research conducted by Arnold J. Toynbee an estimated 600,000 Armenians died during the Armenian Genocide in 1915–16.
According to the International Association of Genocide Scholars, the death toll was "more than a million". Armenia and the Armenian diaspora have been campaigning for official recognition of the events as genocide for over 30 years. These events are traditionally commemorated yearly on April 24, the Armenian Martyr Day, or the Day of the Armenian Genocide.
